5-Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari

You will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe and begin your scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey passes through lush countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, relax, and enjoy the tranquil forest environment preparing for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling through the famous Ishasha Sector. This area is known for its unique tree-climbing lions often seen lounging in fig trees. Enjoy en-route wildlife viewing before continuing to Bwindi, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Today is dedicated to an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by park rangers, you will venture into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge.

You will head back into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a second gorilla trekking adventure, offering another chance to explore different terrain and encounter a new gorilla family. This experience allows deeper appreciation of gorilla behavior, forest ecology, and photography opportunities before returning to relax at your lodge.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy scenic views along the way with optional stops for lunch and souvenirs. You will arrive in the evening in time for your outbound flight or drop-off at your preferred location, marking the end of your incredible safari experience.
