Your 6-day Uganda safari begins with an early morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe. Drive northwest toward Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying Uganda’s beautiful countryside, local communities, farms, and changing landscapes along the way.
After lunch, continue toward the park and, time permitting, visit the top of Murchison Falls where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge. Proceed to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.
Wake up early for a morning game drive across Murchison Falls National Park. Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, and other wildlife while exploring the park’s savannah plains with your guide.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. The cruise provides opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds before returning to your lodge.
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey south toward Kibale National Park. The drive takes you through rural Uganda, with opportunities to enjoy scenic landscapes, local communities, tea plantations, and countryside views.
Arrive in the Kibale area later in the day and check into your lodge. Relax and prepare for the following day’s chimpanzee trekking experience in one of Uganda’s famous primate destinations.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing before entering Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking. Along the trails, you may encounter chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and many forest bird species.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland for a guided nature and community experience before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Kibale and drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey offers beautiful views of crater lakes, rolling landscapes, local communities, and the surrounding Rwenzori region before entering the park.
