6-Day Rwanda–Uganda Gorilla, Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari

You will be picked up from Kigali by our driver guide and enjoy a scenic cross border drive into Uganda. The journey continues through rolling hills, local villages and forests, arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for lodge check in.

Gorilla trekking begins early with a briefing from park rangers before entering the forest to track a habituated gorilla family. You will spend one unforgettable hour with them, then return to the lodge for relaxation and reflection in the evening.

After breakfast you drive north to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying changing landscapes along the way. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants and abundant birdlife along the water shores calmly.

An early morning game drive offers chances to see lions, leopards, buffaloes and antelopes across open savannah. After lunch, continue your journey east to Kibale Forest National Park, arriving in time for dinner and overnight rest and preparation for tomorrow.

This morning features chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, home to numerous primates and rich biodiversity. Later, visit Bigodi Community for a guided walk, cultural interactions and insight into local livelihoods, supporting community conservation initiatives and sustainable tourism efforts nearby communities.

After breakfast, begin your drive to Entebbe International Airport, passing scenic countryside and lakeside views. Your guide will ensure a timely arrival for your outbound flight, marking the end of an enriching Uganda primates and wildlife safari experience with Kenlink.
